Kerala, MP teams impressed with Arogyasri
HYDERABAD: Two teams of officials - one from Kerala and another from Madhya Pradesh visited the State recently to study and learn first-hand, more about the much-talked-about ‘Arogyasri', the insurance-linked health scheme being implemented successfully here.
An official press release said that the teams were in the State between January 11 and 13 and were assisted by local officials and those from the Aarogyasri Healthcare Trust on their visit to a health camp at the Jawahar Nagar Gram Panchayat in Shamirpet mandal and to the Primary Health Centre in Keesara, both of adjoining Ranga district.
The visitors visited an urban health post at Amberpet in the City, the Gandhi Hospital and the Indo-american Cancer Hospital and studied in-depth the various procedures followed.
