Officials urged to gear up for Rachabanda

SANGAREDDY: Collector S. Suresh Kumar directed the officials to get ready for the Rachabanda programme that would commence from January 24 to February 11.
Programme
The programme would be held at four villages in each mandal and five wards in each municipality.
In a meeting held with officials on Monday, Mr. Suresh Kumar asked them to complete all the pending works in the district by January 20.
Issues like pensions, Abhayahastam, Arogyasri, Indiramma Houses and new job cards would come up for discussion in Rachabanda and they need to be addressed.
Referring to the input subsidy being distributed to the farmers who lost crop in 2009, the Collector said that it would be completed by January 20.
Responding on works in the proposed villages of Nirmal Puraskar, he said that the works should be completed in all 140 villages without fail.
Joint Collector T. Vijaya Kumar, DRO P. Wilsonbabu, CPO A. Balaiah and others participated in the meeting.
