Eminent academicians including Haragopal and B. Ramesh will speak KHAMMAM: The Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Federation (APTF) district unit will organise its 5th district-level educational conference at Sri Baktha Ramadasu Kala Kshetram here on January 23 and 24. Announcing this at a press conference held here on Monday, the APTF district president P. Nagi Reddy and general secretary Talluri Venu said that delegates from all the 46 mandals besides Khammam and Kothagudem town units of the federation will participate in the two-day conference. Minister for Horticulture R. Venkat Reddy, Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao, MLA Tummala Nageswara Rao, former MP Renuka Chowdary, Kothagudem MLA K. Sambasiva Rao and others will participate in the inaugural ceremony. Eminent academicians including Haragopal, B. Ramesh and others will speak on topics like “Secondary Education Reforms” and “The Right to Education Act - Impact on Society” during the conference. A public meeting will be held on the closing day of the conference.
