Kerala girl wins Geeta Chopra Bravery Award

New Delhi: Thirteen-year-old Jismi P.M. from Kerala, who saved two children from drowning in a quarry, will be conferred the Geeta Chopra Bravery Award.

Four win award

She is among the four winners of bravery awards from the State.

They will receive a medal, a certificate and a cash prize each from the Prime Minister on Republic Day.

Jury committee

The award winners, announced here on Monday, have been selected by a committee comprising representatives of various ministries, NGOs and Indian Council for Child Welfare members. — Agencies
