Court complex works begin

TIRUVARUR: Bhoomi puja for the construction of the Integrated Court Complex and Quarters was performed at Tiruvarur on Wednesday by U.Mathivanan, Dairy Development Minister . He said that the State government had allotted Rs.10.85 crore for the construction of the complex. The court complex would come up on 12 acres of land within the Collectorate complex, which is already housing a medical college, central university, and a police quarters. The construction of the court complex would be completed in a year, Mr.Mathivanan said.

M.Chandrasekaran, Tiruvarur Collector, and S.Ilangovan, District Judge, participated in the function, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
