Indian Bank enters final

CHENNAI: Indian Bank moved into the final of the all-India Nalco football tournament at Angul, near Bhubaneswar, with a 3-0 win over Nalco FC in the semifinal here on Wednesday.

Karthik, Pradeep and Samy were the scorers.

In the quarterfinals, Indian Bank beat Cuttack Home Guards 2-0.

Speaking from Angul, Indian Bank coach Sabir Pasha said his team would not be able to take part in the Fr McFerran tournament currently on in Chennai as it had moved into the title round slated for January 24.
