RTC to operate 350 buses for Sambara jatara

VIZIANAGARAM: Arrangements are being made for the village goddess festival that will be held for three days beginning January 24 at Sambara in Makkuva mandal. P.Rajanna Dora, Salur MLA and B.R. Ambedkar, Parvathipuram RDO reviewed the arrangements at the Sri Polamaba Temple on Friday and asked R & B and Panchayat Raj officials to speed up repairs to Chinabogili- Makkuva and Makkuva-Sambara Roads at least by January 23. APSRTC officials have decided to operate 350 services from all the four depots for the jatara. The MLA asked APTransco officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply on all the three days of the festival. This is the second biggest jatara after Sri Pydithalli Ammavaru in the fort town.
