MCC ‘B' posts win
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: MCC ‘B' and Civil Services Recreation Club recorded wins in the Celestial Trophy all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground, here on Friday.
MCC ‘B' scored a seven-wicket win over Yorkshire CC, while Civil Services defeated Loyola CA by five wickets.
The scores: Yorkshire CC 158 in 28 overs (Sibi Mathew 32, Satyanarayanan three for 15) lost to MCC ‘B' 159 for three in 21.1 overs (Siyad Safar 61, V.S. Mahesh 50); Loyola CA 167 for seven in 30 overs (Renjith 85, Monish Jayan 39, Sunil three for 20) lost to Civil Services Recreation Club 168 for five in 24.5 overs .
