Nine-wicket win for Don Bosco

Chennai: Don Bosco (Egmore) scored a comfortable nine-wicket victory over Sivaswami Kalalaya in the P.C. Sekhar memorial inter-schools (under 14) cricket tournament for the Sanmar Cup on Friday.

The scores: Maharishi Vidya Mandir 21 in 14.5 overs (M. Charan four for seven, T. Kranthi four for 12) lost to Santhome 23 for no loss in 3.3 overs.

Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya 67 in 25 overs (L. Kiran Akash three for five, M. Naveen three for nine) lost to Don Bosco (Egmore) 68 for one in 11.4 overs (Martin Bharathi 31 not out).
