Automobile exhibition from tomorrow

KOLLAM: The fifth edition of WHEELZ, an automobile exhibition organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of TKM College of Engineering, will be held at the Asraman Maidan here from January 28 to 30. Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran will inaugurate the expo.

The event will showcase the latest trends in automobile and related sectors. The automobile pavilion will comprise all major automobile dealers in the State along with vintage, luxury and exotic car sections, a pavilion for free basic check-up and another for used cars.

Expert sessions

The education pavilion will have seminars to be addressed by experts from the automobile industry.

The Indian Railways and the KSRTC will also take part. There is also a display on World War-11 Boeing series of aircraft engines. Inter-collegiate events like engine assembly, treasure hunt and auto quiz are the new events in this edition of WHEELZ.
