Shivdeep moves up

Bangalore: Top seed Shivdeep Jayanth cruised into the under-10 boys' third round at the Wearhouse Sadashivanagar Club Junior State-ranking badminton tournament, with a 21-3, 21-4 win over M. Rohit here on Wednesday.

Ninth seed Chakrapani, meanwhile, crashed out after a 21-8, 21-10 defeat to unseeded Saket.
