Setalvad seeks anticipatory bail

AHMEDABAD: Teesta Setalvad, general secretary of the Mumbai-based Citizens for Justice and Peace, has sought anticipatory bail from the Godhra fast track court in the Pandarwada skeleton case.

The application, which was submitted on Saturday, will be heard on Monday.

Ms. Setalvad, her former aide for the Gujarat region, Raees Khan Pathan, and some others were booked in connection with the recovery of human skeletons from some graves at Pandarwada village in Panchamahals district in central Gujarat.
