Catching them young: Students of Paramita High School explaining about the project organised as part of Chrysalis Education programme in Karimnagar on Saturday. – KARIMNAGAR: It was students' day out at the Paramita High School in Karimnagar on Saturday as the students exhibited their computer skills learned through the Chrysalis, EZ Vidya project and won accolades from the visitors including their parents. The Chrysalis, EZ Vidya, was aimed at creating teaching and learning process very much enjoyable and unfolds the creativity of the IT savvy students. As part of the programme, the students from class 6 to 9 participated in exhibiting their creative skills and their learning process on computer. The students made power point presentation on various subjects such as completion of 100 years of Karimnagar then and now, designed fun and GK learning games on computer, making addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on computer, disclosing the charts, making of graphs on computer and conduct of analysis etc. Some students designed a model which gives the day of birth of a person if he states his date of birth. The students said that it was more fun to learn the subject by using the computer and graphics. School chairman E. Prasada Rao said that the programme was organised only to showcase their learning skills through computer, an essential component of school curriculum.
