‘To keep tab on SGPC'
Amritsar: A leader of self-styled Haryana Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Jagdish Singh Jheenda, on Saturday announced the formation of an outfit to keep an eye on the working of the Amristar-based SGPC.
A ‘Sarb Pardesh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee' has been formed to check “financial and other irregularities” in the top religious body of the Sikhs, Jheenda said.
Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee head Paramjit Singh Sarna would be the patron and Inderjit Singh Chug the general secretary , he said.
Mr. Jheenda alleged all donations offered by devotees in Sikh shrines in Haryana were taken away by the SGPC. - PTI
