KOCHI: Opposition Leader Oommen Chandy has assured the Moolampilly evictees that he would do his best to get all the offers in the Moolampilly package implemented. Mr. Chandy told leaders of the Moolampilly agitation who met him at Alappuzha that the failure to implement the package would discourage people from letting their lands to be used for development projects in the future. The LDF government treated badly the 326 families evicted from Moolampilly for the Vallarpadom project. This had brought shame on the entire Kerala, he said. — Special Correspondent
