Students celebrate annual day

KURNOOL: Students of St. Joseph's English School and other schools of the group celebrated the annual day here on Saturday. K. Ramakrishna Reddy, professor of SK University and C. Nagendranath, senior advocate, attended the function as chief guests and addressed the students.

Prof. Ramakrishna Reddy asked the parents not to thrust their views upon the children instead try to probe their interests and help them excel in the areas.

He said in the race for marks and ranks, the students were losing creativity and problem solving capabilities of the young minds were sacrificed.

Mr. Nagendranath asked the students to inculcate moral values.

Correspondent of the schools Rojamma, CEO Anup, principals of the institutions Shouril Reddy, Ishwarya and others were present. Children presented cultural programmes.
