This Day That Age
India's first teleprinter factory, to be located at Madras, is expected to attain its full yearly production of about 1,000 teleprinters and other ancillaries by 1963-64. It is hoped that the new factory will be in a position to meet the entire demands of the country for teleprinters in about four or five years. The Hindustan Teleprinters Ltd. will have an authorised capital of Rs. 3 crores and will, in the initial stages assemble teleprinters. To start with the company will manufacture 120 teleprinters this year.
