ADILABAD: It is early days yet but a debate is already on in political circles here on the chances of Nirmal MLA A. Maheshwar Reddy getting a Ministerial berth as his party, Praja Rajyam (PR), exhibits inclination to share power in the State. The MLA is keeping his fingers crossed as he weighs his chances based on certain strengths. Cordial relation Mr. Reddy told The Hindu on Wednesday that he enjoys a cordial relation with party president K. Chiranjeevi despite differing with him on separate Telangana issue. “There is nothing to worry on the relationship factor,” he said. As Adilabad is unrepresented in the Cabinet, the PR MLA feels it will only be fair the district gets representation. “I can also be the voice of PR in Telangana,” he says. The debate surrounding on the chances of Maheshwar Reddy is focussed especially on what his reaction would be in case he is offered a berth. Will he tow his party's United Andhra stance by becoming a Minister, is the question that everybody seems to be waiting to be answered.
