Naval Aircraft Yard celebrates jubilee

Kochi: A national seminar on “Innovative Approaches to Sustenance of Naval Aviation Maintenance Infrastructure” was inaugurated by Vice-Admiral KN Sushil, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command, at Sagarika auditorium, Naval Base, on Friday as part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Naval Aircraft Yard here.
According to a press release, several papers were presented at the seminar by naval officers and aviation Industry experts. Vice-Admiral (retd) Dilip Deshpande, former Chief of Material of the Navy, delivered the keynote address. Admiral (retd) Arun Prakash, former Navy Chief, delivered a talk on his reminiscences as a naval aviator at the yard. He also released the yard history book.
