VS dismisses charge

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has dismissed as baseless the allegation levelled against him by the IUML that his office had indulged in a conspiracy against IUML general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty.

Addressing presspersons here on Saturday for his reaction to the IUML's allegation, Mr. Achuthanandan said his office believed in taking strong action based on truth. He said his government would take strict action against persons involved in the sex trade.
