Congress MP says he is ready to disclose contents to Y.S .Jagan
Vundavalli Arun Kumar HYDERABAD: Taking objection to the criticism by rebel Congress leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar has asked him to propose the time, date and location of his choice where he could reveal the contents of the letter addressed by YSR to AICC president Sonia Gandhi revealing his ideas on the Praja Rajyam. Strong reaction Mr. Arun Kumar wondered why Sakshi newspaper and the channel owned by Mr. Jagan reacted strongly to the contents of the letter he released to the media a couple of days ago, calling him a traitor. The argument of Mr. Jagan's group was that the e-mail was a fictitious creation and disclosure of just a part of it was described as “immoral and unethical”. In an open letter to Mr. Jagan, he said he failed to understand why disclosing the content of a letter written by the Congress Chief Minister to Ms. Gandhi, sent through a party MP, became immoral or unethical act. “Creation of a fictitious e-mail is a crime according to our cyber laws and you (Mr. Jagan) could always use your Constitutional rights in getting me prosecuted for the same,” he said. He objected to the claim that disclosing the contents of the letter was a betrayal of the friendship between him and YSR. “I was never friend of YSR nor claimed to be one anywhere, anytime. I was his follower to the core,” he said adding the details of the trust YSR had on him and “how was I held in his opinion” would be disclosed when the need arose at an appropriate time. On disclosing part of the e-mail, he said disclosure of full content of the e-mail would not really enhance the prestige of “my departed leader”. “I am ready to disclose the fullest content to you, the son of Dr. Reddy,” he said. It was up to Mr. Jagan to decide on whether to disclose the full contents or not.
