Achuta Manasa performing at a programme in Guntur on Saturday. GUNTUR: Noted Kuchipudi dancer Achuta Manasa gave a scintillating performance at a programme titled ‘Nrityabhinaya Vedam' at Venkateswara Vignana Mandiram here on Saturday. Awards galore She is the daughter of Superintendent of Police (Guntur Rural) A. Ravichandra. Achuta Manasa won Natyamayuri award in the first competition of her life and many more, including first prizes in dance competitions conducted by Tirupati Film Society, International Society for Krishna Consciousness and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Cultural Association. In the Saturday's programme, she was assisted by ‘Natyacharya' Kaza Venkata Subramanyam (choreography), K Suryanarayana (vocal), T. Prabhakar (mridangam), P Anjaneyulu (violin) and R. Prem Kumar (flute).
