Power not needed to do good work, says Harnahallli

SIRSI: No power is needed to take up good works that develop society or lead to the progress of a nation, said Advocate-General Ashok Harnalli. He was taking part in the “Vishwadarshan habba” of Vishwadarshan Education Society at Yellapur on Saturday.
He released a “Bloom” manuscript prepared by schoolchildren.
Too much influence of visual media tended to have adverse effect on growing children, he said.
Teachers and parents should be aware of this, he said. Society president Umesh Bhat said his society would be launching “Vishwadarshana Krashi Mattu Graminabhivraddhi Samste” under the cooperation of National Agriculture Mission and Indira Gandhi National Open University.
