Narayanan defends title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: S.L. Narayanan of Thiruvananthapuram retained the title in the YMCA all-Kerala ranking prize-money chess tournament at the YMCA hall on Monday.

K. Prankumar of Kollam came second while P.V. (Ernakulam) finished third.

Other winners: U-15: 1. Sangeeth Mohan, 2. Krishna Mohan, 3. S.G.Anjana. U-13: Vishnu Narayan. U-11: K.U. Marthandan. U-7: M.A. Girishankar .
