Communications play a big role, says expert

VIJAYAWADA: P. Kalee Prasad, senior engineer, Doordarshan, Guntur, has said that communications play a bigger role than ever in army, defence and every aspect of life nowadays and its applications are expanding day by day.

Delivering a guest lecture on ‘recent trends in communications' organised by the department of ECE of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology here on Monday, Mr. Prasad talked about the bluetooth and zig b technologies and touched upon the latest development in the field of satellite communications. Mr. Prasad dwelt at length on the aspect of the use of satellite communications in the army and defence purposes. ALIET director Fr. Thainese, principal Durga Prasad Ojha, head of the department J. Lakshminarayana and others were present.
