JantaKhoj focus on corporate clients

HYDERABAD: City-based Jantakhoj InfoServices that provides background verification services for those seeking assistance to know more about potential employees before appointment said it was ramping up its offers and shifting focus to the business-to-business market, targeting corporates.

At a press conference here on Tuesday, CEO of the company Tarun S. Bangari said that in nine months of its launch in April last, it had garnered 28 clients and hope to take it up to at least 50 companies, he said. The company runs a people search portal in India, jantakhoj.com and boasts of having basic profiles of identity, address and profession of millions of million Indians.

Asked about the industry's potential, Mr. Tarun said it was estimated at Rs. 250 crore a year and growing upwards of 25 per cent year-on-year. With more and more corporates hiring, , there were good growth projections, he said.
