This Day That Age
That an all-out effort should be made to create an atmosphere suited to the growth of learning in our University education was the view expressed by Mr. Pattom Thanu Pillai, Chief Minister of Kerala, in Trivandrum on February 7. The Chief Minister said that they had not been able to build up very high traditions in respect of their University education. The students must be anxious to learn and so also the Professors and Lecturers to teach the students, he said. Mr. Thanu Pillai was inaugurating a coaching scheme for students for the Central Services.
