DEHRA DUN: The portals of the Himalayan shrine of Badrinath will re-open for pilgrims at 5-30 a.m. on May 9. This was decided by the Raj Purohit of the Tehri royal family at Narender Nagar Palace on the occasion of Basant Panchami on Tuesday. Arrangements are being made to make the yatra more comfortable this year. Special yatra police equipped with local knowledge and first aid skills will help pilgrims find accommodation at reasonable rates.
