Athletic meet to be held

TIRUCHI: The Tiruchi-unit of Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu will conduct an athletic meet for school boys and girls under the world beaters talent spotting scheme.

The meet will be conducted at the educational district-level for the students of standards VI, VII, and VIII. The athletic meet will feature 100 metre, 200 metre, 400 metre, long jump, high jump, and shot put events.

For Musiri and Lalgudi educational districts, the meet will be held on February 14 at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Musiri, and Government Boys Higher Secondary, Lalgudi, respectively. For Tiruchi educational district, the meet will be conducted on February 15 at Anna Stadium. Further details can be obtained by contacting 0431-2420685.
