‘Misinformation campaign is on against me'
Special Correspondent
BANGALORE: Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa on Sunday continued his attack at the Opposition by alleging that a misinformation campaign was being carried out against him.
Participating at a convention of Ganigas organised here, the Chief Minister said those who were scared that they may have to eternally remain in the Opposition if he was allowed to continue as Chief Minister had taken up such a campaign. “They are trying to mislead people through such a misinformation campaign,” he alleged.
He said none of the earlier Chief Ministers had faced such a torture. But he would not run away from such problems and would face them boldly as well as successfully.
He said the government was committed to the welfare of the deprived sections.
The Chief Minister assured the backward community of Ganiga of allotting 10 acres of land near Nelamangala besides a grant of Rs. 5 crore to set up a religious math.
