Miffed:Minister for Textiles and Handlooms P. Shanker Rao arguing with reporters at a media conference in Guntur on Sunday.
GUNTUR: A media conference addressed by Minister for Textiles and Handlooms P. Shankar Rao here on Sunday ended on a abrupt note after the Minister called a reporter of a news channel, ‘unfit,' to be a journalist.
The Minister walked out in a huff after a war of words broke out between him and the reporter who sought clarification from the former if he had condemned the recent outbursts made by veteran Congress leader G. Venkataswamy against Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
The Minister shot back and asked him to read newspapers and view clippings of media conference held in Hyderabad condemning Mr. Venkataswamy's remarks.
The argument continued and the Minister lost his cool, shouted back at the scribe before walking out in a huff.
