Cooks welfare board constituted

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Monday ordered the constitution of a Tamil Nadu Cooking Workers Welfare Board.

An official release said that so far the government had constituted 16 boards for different professions and provided them several welfare measures.

The new board has been constituted based on a demand from those engaged in cooking as a vocation.
