Sporadic violence during Bodoland bandh

Kokrajhar/Udalguri: Sporadic violence marked a 12-hour bandh called by the National Democratic Front of Boroland (ceasefire group), which disrupted life in Assam's Bodoland Territorial Administered Districts on Tuesday, officials said here.

Bandh supporters damaged a bus, injuring the driver, besides damaging three cars in Udalguri district

Miscreants opened fire at the engine of a goods train between the Rowta and Udalguri stations, disrupting traffic in the section.

Vehicular traffic was also disrupted on National Highways 31 and 52. — PTI
