NEW DELHI: Simrarjeet Singh shot a two-over 74 to lead with a total of 148 after two rounds in the NCR Cup golf tournament on another rain-hit day at the Delhi Golf Club course here on Wednesday. Kanishk Madan (76, 73) was one stroke behind the leader as he came up with a better card this day, when bright sunshine gave way to gloom and rain in the afternoon. The other overnight leader, Rakesh Kumar (74, 77) slipped to the third place with Angad Cheema of Chandigarh who came up with a much improved fare of 73. Rahul Bajaj came up with the best card of the day one-under 71 to jump to the seventh spot, after having shot 82 in the first round. The scores: Simrarjeet Singh (74, 74) 148; Kanishk Madan (76, 73) 149; Angad Cheema (78, 73), Rakesh Kumar (74, 77) 151. H. S.
