RDO to inquire into girl's death

VANIYAMBADI: The Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirupattur, will conduct an inquiry into the death of an 18-year-old married girl at Pachur in Natrampalli on Thursday.

According to police, Srimathi alias Shilpa was married to Naveen alias Sivaraj of Post Office Street. They have a seven-month-old boy baby. Sivaraj was working at Bangalore.

Sivaraj's father was suffering from ill-health. Finding it difficult to take care of him, Shilpa allegedly consumed poison. She was rushed to the Tirupattur GH where she died. Following a complaint from her father Narasimhan , the police filed a case.
