KARIMNAGAR: The Communist Party of India (CPI) district unit launched a massive ‘padayatra' from Galipalli village of Illanthakunta mandal on Thursday seeking formation of separate Telangana. CPI leaders Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, Chada Venkat Reddy and others launched the padayatra. CPI leaders Venkat Reddy, Venkat Swamy and others would participate in the padayatra from Galipalli village to Husnabad covering a distance 585 km. The yatra would cover 309 villages in 36 mandals and reach Husnabad on March 9 for a public meeting.
