Thackeray will decide: Joshi

Staff Reporter

MUMBAI: In a familiar refrain, the Shiv Sena has voiced its opposition to the entry of Pakistani cricketers into Mumbai, should they reach the ICC World Cup final, slated to take place at the Wankhede Stadium on April 2.

Asked if the Sena would object to Pakistan playing in Mumbai, senior party leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi said on Thursday, “They [Pakistan] will not win in the first place, but if they do and come here, Balasaheb [Thackeray] would decide what to do about it. He has written editorials about it. You know what our stand has been.”
