Jesuraj stars for Legend
KOCHI: Former Tamil Nadu Ranji star R. Jesuraj's three-wicket haul helped Kottayam's Kenwood Packers Legend CC defeat Ernakulam's Cordiant Sports Foundation by 35 runs and enter the first phase final of the 24 {+t} {+h} BPCL Kochi Refinery all-India cricket tournament at the Kochi Refinery Ground, Ambalamugal, on Friday.
The scores: Century CC, Ernakulam 111 for nine in 30 overs lost to Cricket Academy, Thrissur 112 for two in 15.1 overs. (Digin Paul 46, Gineesh 45).
Kenwood Packers Legend CC, Kottayam 187 for eight in 30 overs (Subrahmannia Shiva 54, Subin Sulaiman 30, Shehzeen Muhammed three for 38) bt Cordiant Sports Foundation, Ernakulam 152 in 26.1 overs. (R.A. Aravind 38, Jesuraj three for 34).
