Employees abstain from work

Staff Reporter

ADILABAD: While the RTC remained spared of the pro-Telangana non-cooperation on the second day of the protests, State Government offices continued to wear a deserted look on Friday.

Employees were physically present in offices but refrained from discharging duties.

The employees took out a silent march and a motorcyle rally in town in the afternoon.

They had staged protests in front of the Central government offices like the BSNL and post offices to enlist the support of the employees there.

The RTC had suffered losses running into Rs. 30 lakh as Telangana supporters dislocated many of its services on Thursday. Only a few services were disturbed by Telangana supporters on Friday as a result of their refusing to purchase tickets.
