HYDERABAD: An employee of Infosys leapt to death from the fourth floor of her office parking building at Nanakramguda in Raidurg on Friday, the police said. Motive behind the ‘suicide' of 23-year-old Vyasam Sahiti, is not yet known. A labourer, Lambodar, in his early 20s, sustained bleeding injuries as the woman fell on him before hitting the ground. Both were rushed to a corporate hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. The labourer is recuperating. “Her colleagues said she went out of the office around 12.30 p.m. As she walked towards the parking complex, they thought she wanted to attend a personal call on her mobile,” the Rayadurg Sub-Inspector, Raghunandan, said. According to the SI, she jumped from the fourth floor of the eight-storied parking building minutes later. Lambodar was working at the construction of a sump on the ground floor when the lady fell on him. The injured labourer was too shocked to speak to the police. Sahiti's father, Muralidhar Rao of Visakhapatnam works with the railways. Their family lives in Sriramnagar of L.B. Nagar. A case of suspicious death under section 174 of Criminal Procedure Code was registered.
