Advance reservations for all these new trains have begun MANGALORE: The Southern Railway will run special trains in April, May and June 2011. The Chennai Central–Madgaon Weekly Superfast Special Train (06003) (via Coimbatore) will leave Chennai Central at 4.10 p.m. on Fridays from April 1 to June 10 and reach Madgaon at 3 p.m. the next day. The Madgaon-Chennai Central (via Podanur) Weekly Superfast Special (06004) will leave Madgaon at 4 p.m. on Saturdays from April 2 to June 11 and reach Chennai Central at 2.45 p.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad, Kasaragod, Mangalore Junction, Surathkal, Udupi, Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Kumta and Karwar. The train no. 06003 will stop at Coimbatore while train no. 06004 will stop at Podanur and Perambur also. The Nagercoil–Mangalore Junction Weekly Special (06301) will leave Nagercoil at 4.50 p.m. on Mondays from April 4 to June 13 and reach Mangalore Junction at 10.15 a.m. the next day. The Mangalore Junction–Nagercoil Weekly Special (06302) will leave Mangalore Junction at 4.15 p.m. on Tuesdays from April 5 to June 14 and reach Nagercoil at 7.45 a.m. the next day. It will stop at Eraniel, Kulitturai, Neyyatinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Mahe, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyangadi, Payyanur, Charvattur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. The Chennai Central–Mangalore Central Weekly Special (06015) (via Coimbatore) will leave Chennai Central at 8.40 p.m. on Fridays from April 8 to June 10 and reach Mangalore Central at 1.30 p.m. the next day. The Mangalore Central-Chennai Central Weekly Special (06016) (via Podanur) will leave Mangalore at 4.20 p.m. on Saturdays from April 9 to June 11 and reach Chennai Central at 9.20 p.m. the next day. The train will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. The train no. 06015 will stop at Coimbatore and the train no. 06016 will stop at Podanur and Perambur also. The Chennai Central-Mangalore Central Bi-weekly Special (06011) will leave Chennai Central at 10.30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 12 to June 16 and reach Mangalore Central at 3 p.m. the next day. The Mangalore Central-Chennai Central Bi-weekly Special (06012) will leave Mangalore at 7.20 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays from April 13 to June 17 and reach Chennai Central at 11.55 a.m. the next day. The train will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. The train no. 06012 will stop at Perambur. Advance reservations for the all these new trains have begun. Cancelled The Chennai Egmore-Coimbatore-Chennai Egmore Weekly Superfast Specials (06031/06032) scheduled to run from February 18 to March 27 have been cancelled because of operational reasons, according to a release.
