Mass marriage

BANGALORE: The 12 {+t} {+h} free mass marriage programme organised by Sri Banashankari Samuhika Vivaha Vedike has been convened on the Banashankari Temple premises on Kanakapura Road, on February 20, 2011.

Speaking to presspersons here on Thursday, Convenor of the Vedike, A.H. Basavaraj said over 50 couples would tie the knot. The registration for the marriage from the economically weaker sections will be accepted till Saturday afternoon.

On the occasion, Chairperson of Karnataka Legislative Council Vimala Gowda, former Lokayukta N. Venkatachala and Karnataka Rakshana Vedike president T.A. Narayanagowda will be felicitated, Mr. Basavaraj said. Call 080-26717527 or 080-26712988 for details.
