Staff Reporter

Yadagiri

SANGAREDDY: Tension prevailed at Muslapoor village in Alladurg mandal on Saturday night and Sunday as a degree second year student committed suicide demanding the formation of Telangana.

According to sources, D. Yadagiri, 20, committed suicide by consuming pesticide.

He was survived by mother and two brothers, who are studying in welfare hostels.

In the suicide note, Yadagiri urged TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao, K. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao to take care of his family.

Yadagiri also expressed displeasure over ruling Congress party MLAs returning empty-handed from New Delhi and Ministers from Telangana region not resigning their posts.

Mr. Harish Rao and former MLC R. Satayanarayana visited the village and consoled the family, in addition to extending financial assistance.

Later speaking to media, Mr. Harish Rao alleged that the government is responsible for the suicides by students.
