VIZIANAGARAM: The Arya Vysya Sangham that was established here in June 1934 would celebrate platinum jubilee on February 28 and March 1. In the inaugural function, president of A.P. Arya Vysya Mahasabha and chairman of Sri Sailam Devasthanam Immidisetti Koteswara Rao would participate in various activities which include distribution of sewing machines, distribution of rice, inauguration of blood donation camp and eye camp. In the evening on the premises of Sri Kanyakaparameswari temple cultural programmes would be organised, said chairman of the organising committee Narayanam Srinivas. On the concluding day, , Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao, chairman of GMR Group, would participate in the celebrations to be held in the evening at Venkatalakshmi function Hall, he said. Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy, District Congress Committee president and honorary president of the sangham would preside. K. Prakash, co-chairman, V.V. Kasiviswanadham, president and K. Srinivasa Rao, secretary of the sangham were present.
