He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a latex factory of Plantation Corporation of Kerala Ltd. (PCKL) at Kodumon, near here, on Sunday. A good number of PSUs were facing closure threat when the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government assumed charge 57 months ago. The government could successfully streamline the functioning of all the PSUs and convert them into profit-making ones, he said. The Minister stressed the need for concentrating on production of value-added agro products. It would generate more employment opportunities.
