PALAKKAD: Minister for Cooperation and Coir G. Sudhakaran said that the cooperative sector in the State had received a deposit of Rs.50,000 crore, of which, Rs.47,000 crore was disbursed as loan. Inaugurating the third State Cooperative Colleges Festival on Sunday he said that during the tenure of the present government the cooperative sector started three engineering colleges, two medical colleges and one college for business administration.
