Docu, book on old-world systems to be released

ADILABAD: Work to bring out a couple of documentaries and a book on the social morals that are almost lost to world now concluded at Adilabad's Kala Ashram.

Eklavaya Foundation, an NGO working in the tribal areas of the district and the Bhilai-based Media For Movement (MFM) have made documentaries on the philosophy associated with old systems of society narrated by Ashram founder and winner of Kala Ratna award Guruji Ravinder Sharma.

Guruji is an acknowledged authority on different aspects.

P. Venugopal Reddy, chairman of Ekalavya Foundation, R.K. Anil, a social worker and a couple of television professionals from Hyderabad were busy in the project. Dinesh Choudhary, Editor of the MFM is also shooting the lectures to ‘keep the present generation acquainted with the hoary traditions in the country'. Mr. Anil told The Hindu that the documentary would be put on internet also so that people can directly access them. The book will initially be brought out in English and Telugu, he added.
