CUTTACK: The prefecture government of Hiroshima in Japan has expressed keen interest in signing tie ups with several mineral-based industries in Orissa. This was disclosed by two visiting professors of Hiroshima-based Kokusai Gakuin University who signed a MoU with Ravenshaw University here on Monday. Both the universities reached an agreement to promote exchange of research scholars, students and members of the faculty for next five years, informed Prof. Nachikata Das who signed the MoU on behalf of Ravenshaw University. Quoting the two Japanese professors, Das informed that Hiroshima, an industrial prefecture of Japan was interested to promote collaborative progress in mineral industries.
