TIRUCHI: Reliable performance constitutes supply of right product at the right cost at the right time A.V. Krishnan, Executive Director, BHEL, Tiruchi, said on Monday. These important factors would meet the expectations of end-users, Mr. Krishnan said, inaugurating a day-long vendor meet of the FBC & HRSG (Fluidised Bed Combustion and Heat Recovery Steam Generators) product group. The present growth environment warrants capacity addition by business partners in line with the progress being made by BHEL, he said, advocating simultaneous growth. Thirty seven vendors representing 23 organisations took part. Two products were identified for signing of Memorandum of Understanding to speed up the procurement process. M.Karunakara Reddy, General Manager (in-charge), Boilers, emphasised on taking forward BHEL's relationship with its business partners while S.Sundararajan, General Manager – FBC & HRSG, sought induction of more vendors. The meet focussed on discussion of technical, quality issues relevant to products, including blowers, control valves, and rotary feeders.
