Three injured in fire accident

HYDERABAD: Three persons, including one-month-old baby girl suffered serious burns after fire broke out in their house at Shalivahananagar in Malakpet on Thursday.

Police said flames erupted when a 10-litre petrol can caught fire leading to injuries to Champa Pawar, 48, her daughter Bharathi Leela, 25, and one-month-old granddaughter Divya. While Champa Pawar and Divya received 90 per cent burns, Leela sustained 65 per cent burn injuries.

They were admitted to Osmania General Hospital (OGH) where their condition was serious, police said.
